 i'd say larry knows of what he speaks on this drone 'attack', since he was in moscow at the time;

I call bullshit. Yes, the Ukrainians launched a significant drone attack on several targets in Russia, but Russia shot them down. I was staying at the Metropol Hotel, a magnificent place, just blocks from Red Square. I went to bed at 2am today (Tuesday). I did not hear a damn thing. In fact, if it had not been for the Telegram posts, I would not have known there were drone attacks in the Moscow area. Friedman, in my view, is hyping the hell out of this in order to get clicks to boost his own following.

Unless you’ve been to Moscow, you cannot appreciate the size and expanse of the city. While the official numbers report a population of 13 million, it is probably closer to 20 million souls. Lots of apartment buildings. Miles of high-rise buildings. Candidly, I think more people were killed in traffic accidents yesterday than died from the drone strikes. So far, one man lost his life from falling debris.

I am not suggesting that the attacks are meaningless, but there is no need to hype them as something devastating. I hope Russia responds forcefully to the Ukrainian terrorist attacks. And yes, these were terrorist attacks — i.e., violence against civilians for a political purpose. There was no military objective or target. This is just a futile, desperate act by Ukraine. They are getting their ass handed to them in Kursk and losing territory in the Donbass. These attacks are an attempt to distract the West from the disaster that is unfolding for Ukrainian forces. Really does not matter what happens in Riyadh in terms of talks between the United States and the Ukrainians, because Ukraine’s fate is sealed militarily.

The following snippet from Telegram summarizes correctly, I believe, the next steps in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia:..........more...........
