i'm a birthright quaker in part raised by a black man born in 1890 and a gay former army mess sergeant. i can't imagine any of those two men supporting the crap we see these days though both were for equality and fairness in all things. now in the search to avoid offending any one individual with tender feelings we're finding the republics founding documents labeled this way escapes my imagination, and i don't have a democrat or republican bone in my body;

Visitors to the National Archives website looking for the US founding documents are now greeted with labels warning of ‘harmful language’. It isn’t clear when the tags were added, but the move has angered some Republicans.

“Harmful Language Alert” labels can be found on pages displaying the scanned versions of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, as well as the first 10 amendments, known as the Bill of Rights. 

The addition caught the eye of Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado), who pointed it out on Tuesday. .........read more.........
